Crumpler and Ruscheinski Win Semi Steel
Russell Crumpler (1:06:27) and Tash Ruscheinkski (1:15:20) topped the men’s and women’s podiums at the second annual Semi Steel triathlon held in the environs of Beef Island on Saturday.
Rounding out the men’s division, Adrian Dale was second, and Gary Salter, in his first triathlon attempt, was third. Sally Blackmore and Tia Beckmann were second and third respectively in the women’s division.
Peter Island-Athlon 2014 for Family Support Network
The second annual Peter Island-Athlon took place on Saturday, June 14, with a host of swimmers, runners, riders, walkers, and zumbas, heading over to the exclusive resort for a morning of action-packed athletic activity to raise funds for the Family Support Network (FSN). $1660 was raised for FSN and records were set on the courses that are now set in stone for future triathlon and aquathlon endeavours on the island.
Peter Island-Athlon
The Peter Island-Athlon taking place on June 14 will include a triathlon as well as a Aquathlon (swim/run). In addition to having a great time at Peter Island, the purpose of this event is to raise money for the Family Support Network charity.
Youth Training Day, West End
Youth triathlon training again this Saturday 3rd May at Sandy Ground Boat Yard. Heading west towards the ferry dock, he boat yard is on your left just after the turning to Frenchman’s Cay.
