Ho ho ho, a swim, bike and run

The Santathon is back and will take place on Sunday December 9th.  Events will be held for adults and children out of Captain Mulligan’s at Nanny Cay.  Fancy dress encouraged and champagne prizes for best outfits will be awarded.  The adult event will comprise a 400m swim, 6 mile bike ride and 1.5 mile run, while the children will compete in duathlons (run-bike-run) on the Mulligan’s property and environs, no roads will be used.  These races will be very short, taking less than 6 minutes to complete.  There will be relay and individual races.  Children are encouraged to form a team of two or do it as an individual.
The kids event starts at 3pm and the adult event starts at 4pm.  Free registration for the children’s event, open to anyone under 16, will be held between 2.15pm and 3.00pm.  Bikes and helmets will be provided and the age groups are: under 8, under 12, under 16 (based on child’s age, Dec 31st 2011). Registration for the adult event starts at 3.30pm and will cost $10.
