The BVI X TRI takes place Saturday, the 31st May 2008, at Smugglers Cove at 8.00am.
SHORT COURSE DESIGNED FOR ATHLETES NEW TO TRIATHLONS!!

SWIM - 600 Meters
BIKE - 5 Miles
RUN - 2 Miles
The fun race is open to individuals of all athletic abilities. Budding athletes are encouraged to form a team or compete solo.
The race starts at 8.30am and competitors must meet at the beach near to the Smugglers Cove car park.
REGISTRATION: Registration will take place at the Tortola Sports Club on Friday May 30, 2008, 6pm-7pm.
ENTRANCE FEE: Individuals: $25; Teams $75
This includes a delicious BBQ breakfast on the beach at Smugglers Cove after the race!
When the President, Yegane Guley was recently asked about the upcoming triathlon she said, “We had over 60 competitors, of all
abilities, in the Road Town triathlon earlier in the year. The X-Tri course is shorter and a more scenic course than the Road Town
Tri, so we expect a good turn out."
The Chairman, Antony Spencer followed up by saying, "It was a smashing event last year and after the race all the athletes were
cooling in the sea at Smuggler's Bay while I announced the results and handed out the prizes. We are really working hard to make
the 2008 X Tri the best yet "
